How can I safely whiten my teeth?
Your safest option is dentist-supervised tooth whitening. Fairfield
Dental Associates offers in-office whitening or a take-home kit
that includes customized trays worn while you sleep or for a limited
time during the day. “Store bought” bleaching products
are not as effective due to the weaker product concentration and
lack of custom-fit retainers. With an improper fit, the bleaching
solution can contact your gums, causing inflammation.

What precautions do you take to ensure patient
safety?
Your health and safety is our top priority. We wear new gloves
and facemasks for each patient and cover and disinfect surfaces
that may be contaminated during patient care. In our sterilization
center, we use an automated instrument cleaner to first clean
all our patient-care instruments, followed by heat-sterilization.
Many of our patient-care items are disposable – we unwrap
a fresh, sterile pack of instruments for each patient visit.

I brush every day, but my breath just isn't
fresh. Is there anything I can do?
Even with meticulous hygiene, bad breath (halitosis) may still
persist among some patients. We offer in-office treatment, such
as the use of a tongue scraper to clean away bacteria build-up
